I know that guy. His name is Mark and he's just outside Reading PA. He is total mad scientist with a full on machine shop in his basement. I went over there years ago when he was starting that project. It used to be a 500+hp supercharged 308 engine and then he went full on engineer bonkers and built the V12. It's a Ferrari 400 block that he adapted Testarossa heads to. Most of it is custom machined billet and tig welding rod.
Pretty sure he was using individual throttle bodies off a GSXR or maybe Ducati.
Dude is seriously talented and nuts.
Cool project, but he's been at it for over 10 years.

I haven't talked to him in years, but he was building his own ECU to run the thing because he didn't like the specs and capabilities of Motec and Haltech off the shelf units. That was long ago, so maybe that got scrapped once ECU aftermarket units gained enough features for his science project.
He's a great guy that suffers from project creep syndrome worse than I've ever seen.
He used computer simulation software to roughly arrive at the specs of the engine as far as cam lift, duration, port size, etc.
He's a bright dude for sure.

And if you haven't guessed by now, he's an engineer by trade.

Just scrolled through the first page of that thread. It's all dated this month, but that work being show was from around 06-07. He must have uploaded that thread recently. His original thread was on Ferrari Chat then later Ferrari Life. Last post by him on FLife was 2015. I think he then started his own webpage for the project.
