Still a big fan of Rickles. Carlin was great. Huge Bill Burr fan. Dave Chappelle is one of the best ever. Chris rock, Pryor. . . Russell Howard kills me. Andrew Schultz kills it.
So watching bits of Dave Chappelle over time brings up (to me at least) the following question: Did he start really, really young or did hit puberty at 30?....
Boom! Tactical strike! if you had gone “a poster of your mother” in place of cousin we’d have to complain to the UN for a war crime.
Bill Cosby's "Himself" has to be one of the greatest comedy performances ever. Remember my parents and friends parents had tears in their eyes. Really sad how he turned out. Bill Burr like others mentioned, kills. Can't believe no one has mentioned Sebastien Maniscalco yet!
After a show I have no idea how Ron White can stand. Watching him sip his glass like he does for an hour or so adding ice cubes and pouring in more hooch. His liver has an amazing tolerance. My personal favs are Carlin, Robin Williams and Andrew Dice Clay. Hickory Dickory Dock!!! Ohhhhh!!!!
If my cousins looked like the racer chasers from Quebec I’d have done them all! Egg’s from closer to you than us hillbillies but he’s alright we’ll take him.
Nah. Just an appreciation for the art of comedy over shock value. Hence why Borat, Farley and Kinison will never make my list. Or Ferrel. Fuck him, too.
'Favorite' implies one... which is impossible for me (much like bands or McDonald's menu items). My medium list of preferred comedians: Jim Jefferies Bill Burr Arizona Ansari (fuck you, auto-correct) Chappelle Chris Rock Dennis Leary Brian Regan (early stuff) Ron White Sebastian Maniscalco Anthony Jeselnik Daniel Tosh Your Mom
I liked that show too, great cast and excellent writers. I'm glad nobody mentioned Larry the Cable Guy. Foxworthy had a few good "you might be a redneck" moments.
I’m glad no one mentioned Theo Vonn. He seems like a good dude and he’s a good podcaster, but I’ve never laughed at his comedy.
