The current situation: even the state won't take the body for burial at one of the cemeteries used for prisoners, the indigent, etc.
The uncle, who is for some reason the guy responsible for disposition of the body, can't afford to ship it back to the old country.
The funeral home is stuck with the body, and requires constant police presence to prevent stupid shit from happening at a cost of roughly $10,000 per day.

I don't know what it would cost to ship him back to Russia, but it would seem likely it would be cheaper to pay for the plane ride than to provide security at that cost.

 

Is it a Sharia Law thing**, or just no one wants him buried in their town? (**can't cremate or bury in a non-Muslim cemetary)

Yeah, I heard that on the news this morning. All is said is that it wasn't Massachusetts.

 

Locally they are just saying that it wasn't in Worcester.
