The CLW's warehouse/4 car garage large AC unit crapped out last year, right at the end of summer.
When we are at some racetracks w/ the motorhome, there is no 220/50 amp hookup for the motorhome, and we have to use an adapter that changes the lg 3 prong 220 to a std 110 3 pronger.
It powers up the motorhome AC just fine, but can't really run anything else w/o popping the breaker.

Soooooo, a buddy has a real nice large window unit that is 220.
Would it be doable to run it w/ a heavy duty adapter down to 110, and plug right into the wall?

Years ago I'da just done that, but the Beeb delivers, and can save a man from burnin' the place down!

    TIA

Nope, sorry. The AC is has 220v motors, it needs 220v.

Everything in your motorhome is 120v. The 220v panel is just about load distribution.
