Is it really that much? Is your driving cycle mostly highway? How much did it improve over stock?

I’ve drive a 2012 Duramax for work with 225k on the odometer. In the last 25k miles my company has put $8,000 in emissions related repairs.

A delete that leaves everything in place is only $1,200...just sayin’

Mostly highway with trailer is 16 mpg 11,000 lbs with up to 500-1000 pounds in the bed. In town empty 19-20 mpg so it averages out to 18 mpg. Stock on the highway was 13 with trailer and bed load in town was 17.5 empty. I drive very conservatively in town.

Engine runs cooler as well as the transmission by about 10 degrees on both. Great thing is I can let it idle for hours in the summer and the a/c blasting and not worry about emission parts failing.
