Dick Blumenthal Senate Race- The Truth

Familiar with Richard "DICK" Blumenthal from CT who is running for Senate?

Should be... his lies and mistruths make me sick, especially when we have men and women overseas and in the US protecting our freedoms. Guys like him dishonor our veterans.

He claims to have:

1) served in Nam which he NEVER did.

2) stated that his draft number was high enough to keep him out of the military but when he really had a "low draft number" he enlisted in the USMC Reserves because of it.

3) lied about the reason for leaving the white house - stated that he could have stayed and continued a deferment, but The President was going to recommend the abolition of occupational deferments. With his last deferment in danger, Dick landed a reserve spot which pretty much guaranteed that he would not be sent to Nam.

Blatant lies to further a political career... and he still has a close majority of the vote from the primaries... are we that stupified?

sad to say but a large portion of the population does not give a dick about Vietnam, the military, or valor.

 

The Republican candidate for Senate in IL lied about his service in Vietnam. The Republican candidate for Governor in CO lied about his service as a police officer. Interesting selectivity you have in addressing this problem.

 

Politician = LIAR

Somewhere, on some level, all of them have lied, deceived, falsified, or deferred something that was important to somebody. It's the unfortunate reality of our system in it's current form.

 

it is unfortunate , outrageous, and insulting at the least....it's like a slap in the face to all soldiers past and present...

 

After John Kerry's huge fail at lying, you would think they would stop trying that angle.

no kidding! and John POS Kerry ... here is a story. He is from the Boston area. Had a fire hydrant in front of his house but was going to park in front of it anyway. Accumulated dozens of tickets. Know where this is going?????

So Blumenthal was in a lightning round match with his opponent the other day- Linda McMahon (wife of WWE CEO Vince). They had to reply to statements with a "one" word answer.

DICK: " not running "

 

Maybe since the guy that began the thread is actually from Connecticut it might make more sense for him to comment on that particular race....it effects him being a potential CT voter.

Maybe you can start a thread about the Colorado governor's race. That said, if he's proven to be a liar, then he's a jackass too.

 

Blumenthal got spanked by McMahon when she asked him how to create a job during the debate. Blumenthal did everything except throw up on himself during the non-answer he gave to the question.
Entertaining but its a sad reflection on why Washington policiticans are so out of touch.
