Woah-woah I'm on fire...... https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/new...n&cvid=593ca6419d384e78c8a78f91861cff30&ei=25 I hope no one here owns one.
107 vehicles? How are they so certain it's limited to just those, were they missed on the earlier recall or something?
I know a guy bought two. All he ever talks about is how we all will drive electric blah blah. I guess he will fafo.
You all are putting a lot of energy into a thread for a recall of 107 vehicles out of the 100,000+ sold. Most of you are probably using a laptop or phone with similar battery technology to do so. I am guessing the fire rate isn't significantly different than ICE engines, but it is certainly harder to put the fire out, so I get that part.
My battery fire recall, the second for the same issue on my VIN, covers a wee bit more than 107 vehicles. 13 confirmed fires so far, 21 through 24 model year Wrangler 4XEs impacted, Pacifica 4XEs going through similar pain.
Oh, this isn't the first or largest Bolt recall by a long shot either, just not sure why folks are making a mountain out of this particular mole hill. OK, to be fully honest I do know why.
