Can someone please tell me when they last a short time before needing to be replaced?

They are made cheaply so you have to keep buying them .. it’s called planned obsolescence.

Damn! I didn’t realize my phone was included in the cordless charging arena.

If you have kids, they will disappear long before they are worn out

That’s part of the reason. Their cords don’t work. I marked my cords and brought the kids, cords for Christmas and now, one of mine don’t work.

Using the phone while it's plugged in is bad for the cords. They get bent in bad angles during that time.

I picked up one of these recently and it's quite beefy compared to OEM cords.

Better than spending time looking for them. I've been wearing glasses or contacts since I was 6 so I rarely misplace them these days. The memory is getting faulty do there's still time.

Yeah, but how long will it last?

On another note, I was wondering if the phone had some sort of code that counted the number of times the cord was plugged in before the phone rendered that cord useless. Can I take off my tinfoil beany or am I onto something?
