Cbr600rr STM Slipper

I believe my Cbr600rr uses a different specialty tool than the tool posted in the US instructions.

Does anyone have the 008amy002 tool? It look like it’s going to pretty much be a 36 mm Allan wrench. If you do could you measure it for me? I was going to make a tool with some hex bolts, but need to get the bike together asap. So I’ll probably refresh it at a later date.

another option is maybe have a machine shop (think Tim Davis) to make a tool. But prob alot easier to order from Italy

 

I would start measuring large nuts and make a tool out of one with the closest OD.

 

If you have not solved your issue for this yet I just put one of these on yesterday and I used the Racetech tool for a 636 suspension.

Good to know that one fits, sits in my suspension toolbox and collects dust.
