the storm at the end of the day on Sunday at Road Atlanta wrecked both my 10x10's. The frames i've been using dont have any vertical support from the corner to the center, so the rain would accumulate and rip the top and/or bend the frame. so i've been thinking of switching to a 10x20 frame, but i dont see any that have the vertical supports to the center posts.
EurMax is a pretty good substitute for the EZup. Im pretty sure the 10x10 comes in a roller bag with 4 weights for less than $200 delivered. 10x20 would need a 2nd person for setup.
EzUp is the gold standard, but I bought one of these earlier this year and it's very nice, especially at the $120 I paid https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CP7QPV9M?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title I'm sure there's nicer ones, but as we all know even the most expensive ones get taken out in storms. And stick with 10x10's, much easier to deal with.
they are, but it sucks when the rain falls in between the two canopies. i even have a rain gutter, but it's still a pain
After my EZ Up got ruined I bought ABC canopy on Amazon. It is so well-built, sturdy, with great rain proof cover I bought a second one. They have a strong finish on the frame that has held up well in the So-Cal weather and high wind tracks.
My buddy has a 10x20 ABC Canopy and I’m super impressed. It has little cranks under the peak supports that help to keep it tight so water doesn’t pool in the corners.
This is what I suggest. I found a 10x15 for under $250 last year. I got one to test, and then I got two more. The first one I got is still being used with 40+ weekends, I go tot a lot of events each year doing this tire thing/ Get the ones with the hex legs. It will also have the tension adjustment for the top. You can crank it up to keep rain from collection on it. The sell replacement tops for reasonable money. You can get walls with them also. It may b4e cheaper to buy the walls separate, I don't know why. This is the one you want. Keep an eye out for when they put some on sale. https://www.amazon.com/ABCCANOPY-Pr...STALLMENTS:US_IHI_5M_HARDLINES_AUTOMATED&th=1
I've had ABC Canopy, Coleman, and EZ Up canopies. EZ Up brand by far has been the most robust unit. It's also the heaviest. Very sturdy and I think it's going to last me several years.
Caravan Canopies. I have had mine for 7 years now. Can put it up my myself and im never worried about wind. They also have replacement parts if anything does ever go wrong. https://www.caravancanopy.com/product/classic-10x20-instant-canopy-basic-kit-steel-frame-11/
Have had a EurMax 10x20 for 5 years straight as a semi permanent car port in SoCal. It's on it's second replacement top since. The frame is not as stout as my 10x15 ez up, but it has held up to two different years worth of gnarly Santa Ana winds. Did not think it would hold up as long, both the frame and the top, for the price. Rated 7.5
I need 20 feet, so I would either go 10x20 or stick with the two 10x10 setup I’ve been doing. Setting up solo, so the large one might be an issue. I’m not seeing EurMax or EZ Up with the side support to the top, but I think ABC Canopy does have them. My main issue has been the pooling of water on my top.
I was just digging out my ezup 10x10 to sell it but you need larger. Need space and cleaning out the basement.
10x20 is hard for one person to set up. That's why we got the 10x15. We also have our 10x10 Dunlop canopies we use.
I bought the Eurmax 10x20 The extra space is nice, and the walls are awesome for February first race...but I would not buy the 10x20 again. It's a sumbich to carry, load ,unload. Mine needs a new top o left in on the beach all summer and dried top out. If solo go 10x10
