You missed my point. A startling number of peeps want the same parent company that manages the CA land and wildfire fiasco to control more of their lives. And they expect different results.
They're handling it well. https://www.foxnews.com/us/california-power-outage-frustrations-pge-office-vandalized-truck-shot
Before too long there will be an outcry because the 100,000 harbor freight generators which people are going to be forced to use dont have catalytic converters and belch co2 .
Or that no one has a long enough extension cord to get it far enough way from their pit stall behind the house.
And no matter what, huge chunks of California will still burn. This year, next year, the year after that, etc. etc. etc. Trying to fix symptoms instead of problems never works in the long run.
Have to have power to run the pumps we found that out in the tornado swarm a few years back. Of course on a good news front the SF bums will not have their sanitation program impacted at all.
So...I'm not in the energy business or an arborist, BUT in my neck of the woods, electric companies trim the trees away from the power lines. That is the power lines that aren't underground of course. So I ask, is CA just lazy or stupid?
To add, I've been without power or on fire exaclty zero days, hours or minutes in my life. Must be my luck I guess...
