If you want a fanboi/hater troll magnet, I can't think of a better way. Nobody in their right mind would list a Buell, KTM, or anything else not a CBR, Gixxer, or Busa. Or you get the BikeEXIF wannabe Craigslisters...
I didn't read past the first few comments, but I think what would make for a quicker assemblage of info and get to the point is a web crawler paired with AI to give the most unbiased reviews, talking points, issues, recalls, etc. etc. for every model of every vehicle. You don't need a disorganized message-board of sorts, but people want to get to the meat of the topic quickly without manufacturer influence. It's like consumer reports, but let crawlers do the work instead of humans. They're more efficient and unbiased.
If you want the thing bad enough, you should want to research enough about it to know... for yourself.
I think it could work but the biggest expense would be advertising to grow the user base to a level where the platform is viable. Short of a Superbowl ad this would take cubic dollars and time to grow organically
