I'm a fat guy with little skills there would be holes in the walls and I would get broken. The mag trainer I have now works it just is so loud the whole house rumbles when used. It only lasted a few years.
Like Mud whistle said, rollers, after a couple of days on them you'll be a better rider in addition to being fitter.
i have some rollers ill sell you..i think my cycleops fluid 2 is the best trainer i have ever used..ill stick with it..
Hey HRC Nick - skip the trainer - there is a lot for sale down the road from my house. I rode my bicycle a few miles on my mini moto track yesterday
So just move from Michigan to Texas and I can then ride all winter but would die of heat stroke in the summer, got it. Looking at the cyclops now.
http://www.lemondfitness.com/product_detail/465/lemond-revolution This trainer is the shit! I saw one in the local shop last week and it is amazing! Shop can't keep 'em in stock....a bit pricey, but my next trainer would be this one.
I have rollers that I ride every week. I'm also looking at buying the Kinetic Rock & Roll trainer. Anyone try one yet?
I chucked the trainer and bought a cycleops indoor cycle, best set up. Quiet, has a powermeter, small, set up all the time so no dragging my bike in and wondering if its gonna spit lube on the floor. I got it cheap on craigslist and sold my trainer for what I paid almost. If you have kids, the trainer is loud, even the fluid ones.
$325 plus shipping And sorry, I just checked my supplier, prices went up on the 15th The Cyclops 2 is now $250 plus shipping
I got Jane the Kinetic for xmas, it is a pretty cool setup. Kinda like rollers with out the problems.
