Actually I co-owned and coached at a small CrossFit box a while back. Still train in the CrossFit methodology but don't have time to coach anymore. Have to say, it works. You will get into the best shape of your life assuming you're interested in general physical preparedness. For specialized training (i.e. you're a marathoner or competitive swimmer), not quite as much. Oh yeah, and the CrossFit chicks are smoking hot.
Going to try it once I get settled into the new city next month (Naples). Looks interesting, and like others I'm not really interested in bodybuilding anymore. Will be interesting to see if it helps with my stamina on the track.
Been drinking the cool-aid for a while. Fun way to get in better shape (of course the definition of fun is subjective)
Started at 235lbs went down to 168lbs, now im up to 182 (from muscle). Ive been doing it about a year, currently competing, so yea I drank the kool-aid also.
