They were on Oprah once and I cried through the entire segment. What a fabulous way to give your disabled son something to enjoy.
Funny how much this Dad does for his kid and all the work that it takes yet he still does it. Then I wonder why it was so hard for my Dad to make to a simple wrestling meet or soccer match. Or why when my son asks something of me and I don't feel like it at that very moment. Oh how much we take for granted!

on one of the discovery channels they have an hour long documentary on this guy from a couple years back. They show how he trains and the whole story in detail about the mom leaving and all. That guys as tough as they come for sure
pretty sure she wanted to put the kid up in a home and the pop wanted no parts of it, she split and he decided to dedicate his life to the boy with taking care of him and all that. I didn't watch the video posted but I remember they wanted to put him up saying he was a vege and then realized later how smart he really was. He ended up going back to school and getting his bachelors at boston I think and lived on his own in an apt. Very cool story
