There probably isn't 20billion nickles in circulation total...be interesting to know...and how much would that weight, how much space would that volume of money take up.
And for those who need a 'cite': http://www.guardian.co.uk/technolog...ple-samsung-trucks-nickels-fake?newsfeed=true
I also noticed that this article calculated that each of the 2755 trucks could carry 80,000 pounds of nickels. In the US, where this supposedly happened, the total weight of a truck is limited to 80,000 pounds without a special permit. 50,000 pounds is a typical payload, so it would take about 4400 trucks.
The 80,000 lb special permit applies to interstates mostly not state roads. Thats why you never see loaded dump trucks and trailers on the interstate. Also your allowed +10% of your gross weight which means since truckers are pushing for everylast nickel most of the dump trucks are around 88,000 lbs.
