520 Conversion

Here we go, dumb question # 27:

What is a 520 conversion and what does it do for you? Do I need it for my F2.

 

it is changing your chain size from a 530 to a 520. the chain is lighter, the spokets are lighter.. less roatating mass, and faster acceleration. is it very noticable? i dunno. you don't need it, but if you are changing the chain and sprokets why not go to a 520, kent.

 

I think you also need a Fox Shock for the back of your F2 and I just happen to have one for sale

 

Not to mention if you plan on buying any sprockets or chains at the track most vendors only carry 520.

 

plus you'll feel really cool because you did something trick to your bike
