Funny thing. I had planned on being at NOLA for the WERA race in Dec. also had a trip planned that week, but we worked it out. Then we were told no race, and the trip got cancelled. Both happened about a month ago.

I told my customers at my day job I was free, and they booked me up. Picked up 8 or so days out of the office in an hour.

Now we have a race again. It's hard to plan for last minute whims on the schedule. 20+ years without missing a race, and this last minute thing is messing that up.
