Price = $5500 Year = 2012 Location = Georgetown, KY Blank Frame, purchased from Yamaha - Previous owner used to part out wrecked bikes back when clean titled frames were worth alot, then just race with blank frames from yamaha Penske rear shock Traxxion AK-20's Graves front wheel quick change fork/fender brackets Captive front axle nut Captive rear axle with 24mm welded socket and corresponding nut/block Captive rear caliper Stock tank with dry brake GPR steering Damper Brembo Master Cylinder and reservoir BMC air filter Carbon Chain holder on swing arm (A+ black bike) Vesrah brake pads DID 520 ERV2 chain SuperSprox gearing Spare set of wheels (maybe with rain tires, I'm at work and can't check right now) some spare sprockets Woodcraft: Case covers (right/left) Rear sets (GP shift) Folding toes Frame sliders Bars Brake guard Ignition by-pass Bazzaz: Zfi TC Quick Shifter Fuel mapping auto tune Traction control https://www.bazzaz.net/index.php/quick-shift/z-fi-tc-fuel-quick-shift-traction-control included with sale, but removed from bike (I took it off to help troubleshoot what ended up being a bad fuel pump. I just didn't have the time to reinstall before my last race) I purchased December 2018. And raced it the following times: - Tally 4/2019 - Road Atlanta 6/2019 (practice crash) - BlackHawk Farms 8/2021 Previous owner's for sale post (This is the Silver bike) http://forums.13x.com/index.php?threads/village-idiots-yamaha-r6s-2-bikes.356824/#post-5435919 Condition: - Bike runs/handles/brakes great on track - Since I've had the bike, it's had a low RPM stumble in the fueling. It doesn't affect me on track, since I run much higher RPM than it occurs at, so I've not taken the time to solve. - Has dry break gas tank, but does not come with a can. I've used the following jug to fill since I haven't been endurance racing: Tuff Jug with this adapter - Quick change wheels setups are awesome and make late tire changes a breeze Why Selling - Looking at my race history, you can see I just haven't made time for it. I had a bad street crash that stopped me from racing in 2019 and just haven't been as serious about it the last year or two. I'm considering consolidating down to a race ready supermoto that I can roadrace if I get the itch occasionally. On that note, I'd consider trades for an FS450/SMR450. I'll try to load pics in a subsequent post.
Sorry, I wasn't clear before. The bike has been crashed and has ugly bodywork at the moment. I had a lowside on the right and it flipped onto the left in the grass. The upper/tail are cracked and the tank is dented. I crashed on Saturday and had the bike back up and racing Sunday after finding some spares for rearsets and clipons. It's been raced another weekend since and had no performance issues, but it is a little ugly.
Yes still available. Ironically, the front fender is one of the few good plastic panels on the bike. The front fender is cut short to help quick front wheel changes for endurance racing.
To further his point - the reason it's cut back so far is to allow the front wheel to come straight out vs dropping out.
