1989 FZR400 This bike came from member Old Guy Rick in Chicago. Delivered to Daytona last March. No title, vin check came back clean, can provide a copy. Well sorted, fox shock, race tech 0.90 fork springs, stock motor with K&N filter, YZF/R6 bodywork with a pretty good paint job, rear sets, GP shift (FJ1200 shifter), 60 easy laps on the Bridgestone rear mostly in the rain, decent box of spares. Bought the bike as a backup plan and it ended up winning 4 races and kept me in the lead for two regional championships while my never ending EX500 project progressed. I also have two new Bridgestone 18 rears and a spare head if anyone is interested in these separately. The only current issues: The counter shaft nut stripped last weekend at a track day. New nut and washer on order. Need to get some Dzus fasteners for the belly pan. Currently held on by zip ties. Price is firm at $2200, not entirely sure I even want to sell it.
It's the best looking bike I own. It's the only bike besides my 250 that's been on top of the box. It's the only bike that's not given me problems this year. I messed up the for sale thread title I think you may be on to something
