06 R6 Rims

I heard this past weekend that rims from an 04 and 05 R6 will fit an 06 but the rotors need to be changed. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

03-05 wheels are a direct bolt on. 05 front rotors are the same diam. as the 06.

03-04 front rotors would need to be changed.

 

Yep, I bought a set of 2005 rims with rotors for my 06 and it was a direct bolt on.

Actually, the Gixxer and I had a deal worked out that if you could make it through your session, I was going to ride the rest of the race. That way it knew it would come home in one piece, and wouldn't get the crap beat out of it!! Too bad you couldn't even last 45 minutes!!

Honestly though, the gixxer told me it didn't even want to go out with you riding because of that vagina shaped, camel pack! You embarrassed your bike, that's why you crashed!!!
