Before I cut them off, anyone know if the metal bands pairing the exhaust headers are welded to the headers -or- just secured with with the bolt? If not welded, any harm in removing them? I'm planning to wrap the exhaust. Thanks.
You mean the crossover pipe to pipe? That sort of balances the other cylinder that is on another cycle and both tend to equalize a little bit. No biggie if you close that off, if that is what you mean about pairing pipes.
