thats actually not a bad plan, but i would do some hiking. the narrows, or if not afraid of heights and lucky to get a pass - angels landing (ive done that before and want to again)

 

Walking the river up to the narrows in November would be less than ideal, and the temps in Bryce will be very unlike a Florida island. Dealing with the crowds isn't typically very relaxing, but November is usually less crowded.

 

A former beeb guy (Spicoli) has a 2bd 2 bath condo on Hilton Head he is renting out. It's near Coligny Beach.

If anyone wants to rent it I can see if there is a beeb discount.
