The "ranch hands" should do A spoof video of weekend at Bernies called "weekend at Rossi's" where they cart him around to various places etc...... I think it would be hilarious......

I hate this date in Motorsports News... I can never sort the spoofs from the real news on April Fools Day!

Crash.net's home page has an article about NASCAR rain tires... I want it to happen, so I want to believe it!

I think the acquisition of GP is a good thing. They definitely need the increased marketing arm that can be provided.

If they actually crack the US market, they would be bringing in the $$ and then reengage the Euro Market to the Rossi era, that would be a huge win

They started the Richmond race yesterday on Wet Weather tires. By lap 30 the track was dry enough for slicks except for pit road. Napcar called a "competition caution" with non-competitive pit stops to change to the slicks.

What got lost is they are also buying WSBK, so will be interesting to see how they integrate it or not

I'm really torn on this... if they achieve their goal of growing the sport, it will likely lead to bigger rider salaries, and that means more guys cruising around for a paycheck. We've seen in both F1 and MotoGP that dudes will cruise around mid pack or worse until the last few races of the season, then they'll pump it up a bit. Perez and Riccardo are the masters at this. Digi did it last year to get the VR ride. Franky still has a ride and I can't figure out why. Maybe my post doesn't make sense. I dunno.

Oxley/Bom podcast had some good discussion on this. Seems there is plenty of room to grow the sport while keeping, or improving, the competition. The money guy seemed to think there was plenty of room to expand sponsorship.
