I say Dennis Quaid and Ellen Barkin in The Big Easy.

    Honorable mentions:
Bruce Willis and Sybill Shepherd in Moonlighting and Kurt Russell with Kim Cattrell in BTiLC.

    What say you?

The chemical burn scene is Fight Club is pretty spot on.... umm lets see Oh the part in The Martian where he splits Hydrazine with Iridium metal, that's real...but I think he gets H2, N2 and some Ammonia, which would smell nice and would potentially cause environmental issues in a sealed habitat. But it could be good for fertilizer so...maybe a positive??? Also they left out how nasty and toxic hydrazine is so maybe mostly spot on.

I also remember a scene from a MacGyver where he uses a chocolate bar to seal a leak in concentrated sulfuric acid tank or pipe. Tis is real as this reaction with sugar and rally any complex carbohydrate..like your skin...produces a nice gooey, charry burnt expanding goo that could help seal the leak.

The movie October Sky shows the hillbilly kids making homemade rocket fuel/motors in the 1950's West-by-God-Virginia is pretty good. Check out the youtube channel "tech ingredients" for a modern version of how to make your own rocket fuel.

And lastly To Have and Have Not...that was the movie during which a 44 yo Humphry Bogart ended his 3rd marriage so he could marry a 19yo Lauren Bacall whom he began seeing during filming.
