Alright Phil talk to me… what’re you noticing with the plunge? Specifically? I know what it’s supposed to do and it all looks great… except for the freezing part… I had some trainers that got me to do partials on injured limbs a bunch and damn did it hurt… I did used to swim in 50 degree river water to get ready for race seasons but that was decades ago when I was that crazy… disclaimer… I hate the cold with a passion and am still traumatized by nearly freezing to death as a kid…
Oh put me out in 30deg weather in a coat and beanie and i will tell you how much i hate the cold. the plunge is however: 1. the mental barrier you overcome via breathing 2. Once in the water, the settling in from shock to acceptance - not as bad 3. The pain relief in joints and muscles 4. the long lasting mental boost and clarity
all my kin up north is about gone… I’ll be tropical before too long and only visit who’s left in summer… I know you did the same leaving IL for TX then CA I’m almost ready and damn man! I forgot about the rancho steako taco flavored chick… I’ll go real tropical for my next companion and increase my odds by only entertaining blue eyed mestizos chicks… certainly some of that great food will soak all the way through right?
