Just watched the replay of the TNT Sports coverage on HBO MAX of the sprint race. One of the mouthpieces was making a big deal out of Mav being "first" to win races on 3 different brands. I can think of 2 more that beat him to it. Eddie Lawson and Randy Mamola. But, I guess now we're only supposed to consider the "MotoGP" era, not the entire history.
Thats what My Overlord is telling everybody but I call bullshit. He is riding above his capabilities again. He had a big big moment and almost hi-sided in the sprint race. I say that Duc wants him to get another world title so they can say "Ducati won World Title ## with My Overlord as the Rider" facepalm. People forget that My Overlord almost killed Miguel Olivera last year with his irresponsible riding and the crowd in Portugal were going to tear him to pieces but he escaped in an ambulance with a bruised thumb.
I was surprised the world feed never mentioned it. Kept making me wonder if I’d missed something as I remember them talking about it frequently last year.
I recall last year when Sprints were newer, announcers made mention that Sprint wins wouldn't count on the stats sheet like a riders career GP victories. They may have updated that and now have 2 categories but that's my best guess - Sprints still don't count as a legit Premier Class Victory.
That cunt’s schtick was tiresome before his name change, why the rest of you idtios didn’t send his ass to the Cannoli-Free Zone months ago is a mystery to me.
so much unnecessary butt hurt here today. You guys should start drinking and get ready for the "My Overlord High Side Spectacular" race show tomorrow
I've also notice coming down the straight, the riders are starting to not slipstream, or definitely not for long, because of the dirty air from the aero. Also, happened to catch the MotoE race 1 this morning, and it wasn't terrible. And the bonus is that the bikes look normal.
Thanks for the reminder - watched everything but Q2 for Moto3 and didn't scroll down to see that MotoE is back.
