I just don’t understand how they go so fast. I was there Friday and struggle to get back to 20 after cracking the teens last year. Granted I am coming back from a crash but still.

Super stoked to be making the trip to Daytona on Wednesday. Manotti is flying down with me and we’re wrenching in Gary Yancoskie’s paddock.

Anyone is welcome to stop in and say hello!

Couldn't help but notice the MA site (Event overview) mention the big stars you might see at the D200 this year. JH, Herrin, Tyler S, PJ, Kayla but no recent or past D200 winners. If I had won the D200 twice I thinks folks may think of me as a star. Nahhh probably not:Poke:

Um, other than Herrin who is the defending Champ?

Made it to Ashland VA tonight, FL tomorrow...

Should I be afraid of Florida Man, or should Florida Man be worried about my stellar track record of decision making?

It seems incomprehensible doesn't it? And, to think the unofficial track record is 1:12.3!!

But, with these more modern bikes having the best of the best components, along with rider aids (electronics: traction/wheelie control, etc.), and obviously riders with way more above average talent.....it does seem possible. Crazy fast no doubt. That was very recent testing, so curious what the temps were. Generally, most times around & under 14's have happened in the mid to upper 40's & 50's.

He might be referring to Brandon Paasch?

Very likely but his wording threw me for a loop - "they mention Herrin but no recent or past winners..."

It’s humbling. I was on track when Waters broke the Roebling record. Boggles my mind. Definitely incredible talent

Danny E and Brandon P...it would be cool for either of them to win again.

If you see them on track enough, it would make more sense. When people use the term "everything counts" I don't know that they realize that means every inch of track, every degree of lean angle, every 1000th sec between brake release and throttle application, etc.

    They're on another planet.

Back in 2020 when Europe was shut down, Gerloff was here and we watched Kaleb's pole lap at Road America like 5x, with Garrett making comments and suggestions constantly. The amount of small things they focus on and correct to obtain every advantage is insane.

I bet if you watched your own video / data, you would see plenty of places to improve a .1 here or there. I left 2' of track here, I missed my turn in by 10' there, etc.
