Are you trying to say that there is a lot of poorly-researched content on youTube that people think is real because it's on the Internet? It sounds to me like that's what you're saying. I want to use the word "impugning" but I don't know how to use it.
A lot of that Kim Newcombe video was taken/re-interpreted from this article: https://www.odd-bike.com/2013/04/konig-500-gp-outboard-powered-underdog.html If you have the prerequisite book sized attention span, Tim Hanna's book on Kim Newcombe, like his book on John Britten, is excellent. It is a pain to find - my copy from NZ cost more to ship than the book itself cost - worth every dime. The view of track safety back then is shockingly bad, the thrill of traveling to races in Eastern Bloc countries, track amenities (European racing is oh so sophisticated - ha!), working in cold war Berlin, etc... Yeah, good book. Like all real racing stories, success comes from a lot of hard work - and it reads like hard work. Otherwise, this will explain . . . misinterpretations:
Wouldn't so much say it was his fault, but his misfortune being a bit impatient perhaps. Lead guy, while he did nothing wrong....persay, didn't have the best line through 8 to 9. That "swoop" left sure didn't help matters. That was the bigger issue. Definitely caught the passing bike by surprise.
He should have seen the blue flag, looked around and moved out of the way. That's how it is supposed to work, right? Totally his fault that someone rode right up into his ass.
Not sure if your being serious, or possibly sarcastic, but this was a track day. No Blue flags at JGP.
