wasn’t that in the 90s? I remember that Hayabusa project of Rad Greaves having an issue with that rule…
Does this like flip down and allow you to grill meats with the exhaust heat coming from underneath? Someone needs to get a photoshop of this immediately out to the interwebz.
I believe it was still around in the early 2000's. It came about from the banning of dustbin fairings.
So I guess it's like a matrix/farm of Pitot tubes like on the front of an airplane? https://www.instagram.com/motogp/reel/C3C23wIMO4L/?hl=en
I'm always torn down the middle on the topic of tech in Motogp. The Engineer, and the racer in me want two totally different things. In the end, the Engineer wins out, because at the end of the day it's a prototype series, and I always nerd out over the stuff they come up with. I would have loved to work in the GP paddock on a race team. I do miss the days of raw horsepower, and pure looking motorcycles with no aero, but was glad to have seen it progress and love to see all the different ways they make tiny gains now. Even though I think all the aero looks butt fugly.
