Andretti's bid to join the circus has been rejected as expected. Back to the drawing board for him, too bad he can't get a refund for all of the money he's spent to this point trying to get in.

 

Proving that allowing the existing teams to make decisions like this is a losing situation. Short sighted, and entirely money motivated. Has nothing to do with on track competitiveness.

 

Disappointing, but not unexpected news. Makes you miss the old Bernie dictatorship. If he thought it was a good idea, it would happen.

 

And how many of the existing teams add value and have some prestigious new/different power unit?

 

Haas was worried Andretti would be more competitive than them.

At this rate F1 silly season will be over before testing’s begun.

 

F1 did say that he can try again in 2028 when he actually has GM backing, and they would have much better luck getting in. Renault was going to be his engine supplier until 28.
