This was mine a couple of weekends ago. Watched the fireworks over the falls too.

 

Even sitting out by the firepit burning the trash can be a beautiful moment if you want it to be.

Nah, that just goes into the municipal waste stream. I kinda feel bad for the poor landfill employee who bulldozes over where our 4yd dumpster gets dumped. Especially when it's a 100 degree+ summer day. That's gotta be pretty ripe.

We did get to watch the 13 y.o. great nephew, and 9 y.o. great niece play (and win!) some CAHA hockey. His bantam team were runner-ups @ a tournament in Scottville.
The Wings lost three in a row; the Bro in law and I celebrated some when they squeaked one over the Blues.
Yoders (for Amish bread) and Cadillac Sweet Shop for the wife.
The families fav is “The Clam” which offered a nice selection of adult libations and a wide menu selection, including bread pudding !

 

^^^All some serious good eats. Regarding the winter pictures, if you can just hold your breath (Like the greenies want us to) for 5 more days, we will start to see more daylight per day. Sure, it's only something like 0.15 seconds but it does get better....
