New to me complete gut/reno house? Yes, and making massive progress finally. Bikes? No, but wish I had the time to finish my fzr400/yzf600 race wiring harness. Got all the wiring, connectors etc, just no time. Guessing 2024 will be a no-season for me ……..besides maybe a hare scramble or 2
Nice bike Scudder.....I wonder how it rides? ......I really liked it, I stared at that chassis for a long time with my jaw dropped.
I don't know how interesting it is but I am getting my old 350GP bike back this weekend and am going to be switching it over to a Sportsman 350 for this season.... So if any of you old CB 350 guys have any race parts you want to get rid of let me know. Looking for things like carbs, ignition, seat
Same boat. House Reno. Taking forever. At least I'm down to kitchen, family room, and garage for major work. Insulating walls properly from inside, new wiring, paint. Still have to do tile, floors and surround in bathroom, but at least the plumbing is done now. Keep thinking I should have paid someone to do some of the work, but then I think about the quotes I got just to do the bathrooms, and how I'm going to be about the same in material costs for doing the entire house doing the work myself.
We have the Norton ready but the guy who owns it is not up for much travel, so it is looking like we will run the WERA Road Atlanta events and probably not much else, as RA is just over an hour from his place and he can go down for the day https://youtube.com/shorts/zA-H5Y_ZfB8?si=nAEaCaHIq9AVWlx8 First time it had been started in over 30 years. Started on first kick
Bought the house in June. Knew it needed “some” work, but the more I dug-the more I found really bad. Ended up gutting down to bare studs, rafters and joists throughout the main area of the house. Kitchen, LR, 2 dining areas. Ran all my baseboard profile yesterday, installed today. Kitchen cabinetry is next to build and then it’ll be done throughout the main area, then onto the individual rooms
