DLC or TiN Fork tube coatings?

The shop I used to use is no longer doing small jobs.
Anyone have a source to send a couple tubes at a time to?

For those who have experience, is there a distinct difference in feel with treated forks?

 

The potholes near my starbucks are way smoother with DLC!

 

I believe DLC is a bit more durable than TiN.

I've heard they take care of coating for a lot of SX teams.

 

Wouldn’t the tube diameter be too small after the chrome plating is removed ? The PVD adds next to nothing in thickness.

 

Not heard great things about DLC’s durability on other forums.

 

Also lower friction than TiN

 

Which interestingly makes me wonder why Ohlins has steadfastly remained with TiN? I guess its the gold color thing.
