Why is it illegal to dispose of trash. They just happened to seperate the valuable trash from the others. I dig the hustle Thats amazing.

I'm sure it's not "illegal to dispose of trash" in California. But, for example, if someone who is claiming the rebate falsely certifies that the waste they're turning in was purchased in California, when in fact it wasn't...that's fraud.

And there's good reason for enforcement of this type of law. The money being paid out has to come from somewhere. If it's not being paid for by people buying the cans/bottles, then it will be paid for by the general California taxpayer.

 

And that's why they are upset. If they were stealing product from Target or Wal-Mart they would be cheering it on. Fuck 'em.

 

That's not what they're doing.

They're claiming the 10 (? More) cent deposit per can paid by those who purchased the beverage containers within KKKalifornia.

It's ok when the government steals from us. Just not allowed the other way around. Funny how that works.....

 

Here, We have recycling centers in rural areas for recyclables and household garbage . No curbside pickup. Your supposed to separate, clean, remove labels etc. for the recycled stuff. You see lots of folks doing it at the facility. They have big dumpsters with a roof and little sliding doors for each kind of trash so it doesn't get mixed up.

I was at the big landfill the other day and here comes a truck with the covered dumpster from the recycling center up the hill and dumps all that shit people (sheep) wasted their time going through the steps to save the world right on the hill with the rest of the garbage.

 

That happens a lot.

We can't talk about it here, though.
