If you slice up SPAM and cook it in a cast iron skillet first then you can add it to things (omelettes, quiches, etc) and it tastes pretty decent.
LOL Holy shit! I wrapped up a championship literally 2 days before my wife went into labor with the twins. If I would have been racing at Gingerman Labor day weekend 2016 when she went into labor I would have been in some DEEP SHIT.
Well, I wouldn't. But I'd have to imagine that they aren't very tasty. Much like SPAM. My point tho was smothering inferior ingredients in otherwise tasty dishes, is silly. Just start with better ingredients and skip right over 'pretty good' to delicious.
My wife tells her friends we'd be the only fat people during an full on SHTF apocalypse because we hunt, fish, dive, grow food and forage for wild food. We was po growing up so bologna, spam and Vienna snausages were delicacies. I worked my ass off to leave the food behind but keep the life lessons.
You will get no debate from me that better ingredients = more delicious. But sometimes you have to test out the foods in your prepper pantry and fresh veggies and ham don't keep as long as SPAM.
