Blah blah blah… where is your vehicle now? Have you named him/her? We ordered our vehicle on April 7 and took delivery of it on July 29. I was visualizing some dude on an outrigger canoe with really tired arms. It is a Mazda 3 Hatchback Turbo Premiere something or other. I love her. I named her Gigi, short for grocery getter. Every time I hear the turbo spin up, I giggle like the school girl that I am. I cannot imagine waiting so long for a vehicle. We considered a Porsche, but it is a PITA to maintain here in the hinterlands of PA. But still in the back of our minds. Let us know how the buttons work out!

I've heard those drive very well. Never driven one, but the other day (maybe 12 months ago) I had my first drive in a Mazda Miata. Damn those drive nice, just not quite bad ass enough/quick enough for me on the street?

Boy the Miata sure does shift better than a Lotus.

Congrats on the new ride

I have never heard a bad thing about Mazda's. One of my HR girls has a Mazda 3 and she loves it.

No name for mine yet, that is something that will come to me when it shows up.

Yeah, I gotta admit, the waiting has sucked ass. But I still love the Jag, and it is still like new. I just rolled over 18k miles. It still has the new car smell. So I wasn't in a bind while waiting. I didn't need "a" new car, I wanted "the" new car. So if I had to wait, so be it. I figured the waiting just gave me more time to enjoy the SVR.

I am fortunate because the Porsche dealership is only 10min away. The Jag dealership is 1.5hrs away, so it will be nice having a place closer.

I don't have any pictures; I have never seen it. I only have the computer generated images from my build pdf. Ill definitely get some pictures when it shows up. It had to sit at the Port for 10 days waiting for the boat. It will arrive at the Port in Halifax on the 4th, and ETA at my dealer is the 21st. I don't know why in the fuck it takes 2.5 weeks to get down from Halifax, unless it takes a while to clear Customs and shit.
