So... Does this guy build engines as well? Since we're being vague and not just posting names. And it was a ccs race.
For context, the engine builder incident where someone went across a hot track was here in the PNW (Ory-gun). I have never raced in CSS, so have no clue who said perpetrator is, nor if they are an engine builder.
If track in question is BHF aren't there 2 gates that are closed/locked when track is hot? or one gate, outside of track?
Jay Farrell can be reached at his shop. The number there is 920-236-0000. The number to the CCS offices is 817-246-1127. But I imagine being told that this has nothing to do with you and why the fuck are you asking over the phone isn't as satisfying to the gossip gang.
Man, I need to fire up my old Gateway and login to CCS' Compuserve IRC chatroom and see what's going on!
Depending on my location at the time the answer varies but at a minimum anyone assaulting an official would never race again with us and probably most of the sanctioning bodies in the US.
Cussing out officials depends on the situation and the official involved. I'm used to it so not a huge deal, cussing out registration or tech for something totally out of their control after they told you to talk to me or the race director or the like would be a ban/fine.
