Do yourself a favor and get a model that can map your house, because mine doesn't do that and seems to be hell bent on destroying everything.

Overall I love it for my hardwood floors and dog hair.

 

I have hardwood downstairs where the dogs hangout during the day. It is ALWAYS dirty.

Too many stories of a Roomba spreading dog shit everywhere. Including to my close friend who dismissed my warning only to have it happen to her.

 

I feared that, but it’ll be programmed to run at night when we’re in bed. I don’t go to bed with dog shit in the floor.

 

I never had a dog shit in the house in 30 plus years of having them.

Literally dog shit. In this case, a 13yo Boxer mix who had not had an accident since being a puppy. Smeared shit everywhere taking hours to clean, ruined a rug, and the Roomba.

Just something to think about if you get one.
