Well she did give that man his first in ring loss, so there’s that. Holm hasn’t done much of note since beating the former goat senseless. I don’t see her winning tonight.

The knee didn’t seem to land all that flush. It was just one of those things. Ben has a serious chin. It’s been tested. His tweet was hilarious! “Well that sucked” I feel bad for Holly. It won’t, but how he responds might. Some guys come back from silly things like this even stronger, some wilt.
I don’t think there is anything left for Ben. He’s won championships and made big money. There is no path for him to a title in the UFC. Plus he isn’t young. It’s an unfortunate reality of professional fighting. You don’t often get to retire on your own terms.
If Ben wants to be successful in the UFC, he'll need to start striking more. Felder mentioned after the fight that anyone with more stand-up experience would recognize Masvidal running would would result in a flying knee. He should've seen it coming. He also mentioned, since they both train at Rufus' place, Ben doesn't really strike with the guys. Ariel pressed him on it and he then back peddled, but it was kind of shocking someone at that level doesn't try to be more well - rounded. The day of the specialists is just about dead.
