About the only long term team I can think of is Yoshimura. Was there ever a time, beginning when Pop's ran Kawasakis, that they were not on the grid?
I definitely understand that teams come and go but it's disappointing to see a team as big as this leave especially considering there isn't a whole slew of professional teams present in the paddock as is.
Good gawd, we don't need to go through all the dead teams. Team Swine Dudes, Mladin motorsports, racecrafters, Lockhart Phillips, Barely Human, Dutchman. . . this ain't a memorial thread. Roadrace factory is dead, that's depressing but let's move on.
What’s the latest on the Yosh ride? Regardless of who we want, I am sure most of can agree that if they are simply after the best results possible, the rider (not currently signed) that gives them the best shot at a Championship is Herrin. Personally, I wanted to see Kyle get it. If not him, then it would be awesome if they brought back Spies or Hayes. But aside from bringing someone in from WSBK that still doesn’t have a ride, Herrin gives them the best chance to win. Herrin and Elias on equal bikes would make for some EPIC battles.
