Who does quality hard anodizing?

One weekend on a slipper and the anodizing on the pressure plate is gone..

 

I've had work done by these people in the past.

I can't imagine any anodizing holding up on the wear surface of a slipper?

 

Slipper clutch on my race bike Aprilia SXV 550 lasted for over 8 years and looked like new when I sold it.

 

i'd go with DLC in that case, if it's required to hold up

 

I asked the manufacturing engineer at the air plant about who does our aluminum molds... he said call here: https://www.fortwayneanodizing.com/index1200.htm

Not a giant company, so you might have luck getting a one-off part done.

 

I remember a slipper thread from when I first started coming here. It is long, but I believe they found a place to re-anodize the slipper, somewhere in this thread. I remember @TWF2 figured out something about thickness issues? Maybe he can help on the anodizing part?

Ugh.. Thanks for digging this up. I'm re-living this nightmare, but this time it's with the improved sbk spec clutch with the outer hub that adds a set of plates

 

Yeah, but that's not the wear surface. I'm talking about the part facing inside, up against the steels and fibers.

 

The back side looks just as good as the front side on that slipper I posted.

 

I think Kerry Kling (Palmer's dad) at Agusta Speed Shop was doing some. I havent seen hide-no-hair from them in a long while though.
