Ok all knowing beeb. Im on the road a lot nowadays and I'm going throught some data on my current phone plan. Any way I can get a a better deal then having to sing over my paycheck every month to Verizon? 25GB. $250 month for two lines. Help a brotha out.
What are you doing to go through that much data? I share 3gb with my wife and we usually have some leftover. Why don't you download stuff while you have wifi and listen/watch later instead of streaming?
Porn and book of faces. I guess. Might not be quite that much but I think I'm at 18gigs now. I got some GPS background stuff data that takes some data too. 5GB of YouTube actually. We used to share 3GB too, then I started living on the road.
wow $250?! I know VZW has the best coverage, but jeeze... My wife and I pay $111/mo (taxes including!) for unlimited everything, including 4G LTE. With 'BingeOn' you get free video streaming on certain sites, and music streaming is free too. (free meaning it doesnt count towards your data cap if you have one)
Tmobile My plan is called Family Unlimited 4G LTE But BingeOn and free music is on all plans I think... http://www.t-mobile.com/offer/binge-on-streaming-video.html
Shared 20 gigs a month, 2 phones with AT&T with roll over. I use most of it. I don't have Internet in the shop so I use my phone as a hot spot. Same with meetings and all. I'm usually using 18-19gb a month but last month we didn't use 7gb of our plan so I had 27gb this month which works out well for me. $225 including the stupid 30 month contract you have when you finance the phones for way too much money. But I'm happy with their coverage and customer service so I stay.
I'm in the process of leaving Sprint for T-Mobile, they were getting me for 300 a month for 3 lines unlimited (and only 1 phone is/was being purchased through them, the others we own). My rep also added a tablet to my account a few months ago, problem is he gave it to someone else that I don't know and didn't bother to mention it to me. Yeah.
Unlimited data with a wife who works for T-Mobile has its perks. We were watching in the trailer Sunday morning too.
I got AT&T unlimited with foreign roaming for calls (no data here) and unlimited minutes. Something like $95 a month for a single line. I use almost none of the data but I won't swap to a lesser plan to save $10 because there is no way to get the plan again if I do. Sam's phone is sprint and it's like $90 a month, unlimited data, texts and minutes. She uses every bit of the data.
I used to pay nearly $180/month for what came out to about 4GB of data, I was on VZ (3GB), wife on Sprint (1GB), well this past Xmas her plan was done so I switched her over to my plan. We now get 6GB for $130/month. That was until the COTA trip, my kids were eating up my data with their tablets so I actually had to up my plan to 12GB, my new rate is $145/month....2 lines. Coverage wise, it's true, nothing seems to beat Vz......I was a huge Sprint user which worked very well all over NNJ and NYC but when my assignment changed at work, I wasn't commuting any longer and never realized how crappy the coverage was locally so I switched. The unlimited data is worthless if you can't connect or having trouble staying connected. My ONLY gripe with Vz, is I wish they'd adopt that rollover idea.....that'd lock them up as being the best cellular company out there IMHO.
I just looked, BingeOn is a T-Mobile thing....not all [other] plans, if you meant other cellular company's.
Sorry, thought that was understood (since I posted a link). TMO is the only one offering free music streaming and free video streaming that I'm aware of.
I'm glad I did it, I needed to know what a day would be to see if it's viable to do cell stuff for other regions. It's actually not too bad since I was surfing all day and we also did uploads to mylaps and the like. But it does kind of put a crimp in my cell plan since I just used half of it in one weekend
