I work for a western based telecom company.
We have a good sized internet network with one of our main hubs being in SLKC.

Well over 1/3 of the traffic that originates in Utah is porn based on our router records.
It just cracks me up.

After looking at some aspects of the bill, there are some pieces in there that are decent.

I've lived "behind the Zion Curtain" for 20 years. I grew up in Louisiana and lived for a number of years in both NC and TX. And I'm not LDS.
I don't take offense, but roll my eyes a bit when people who come here maybe one week a year (or have never been here) think they have this place all figured out -
Not the party capital of the intermountain west for sure and we have our fair share of crazies, but all in all - life here is pretty good. Trying to do a WERA season is a challenge though - most of the venues are too far, so I'm lucky to get in one or two rounds - which does kinda suck.

 

We need to eradicate these swine once and for all, take our country back.

entirely different law/resolution than the one that started this thread, but also an interesting development. we're the first state to acknowledge porn as a public health crisis!

 

There were two items related to the topic.

1) Governor's resolution.
2) Bill through the legislature (one I referenced).

 

Good to know that police resources are being used for stupid shit like this. It's not their fault, the elected morons put the laws into place which the police have to enforce. It just seems completely pointless.

My mother told me the other day that my kids told her I was on dating sites before the wife left.
