Honda Hawk racers have gone to the dark side...

I know of 2 front running Hawk men that are now in the evil SV camp. Is this where vintage is headed? To the corrupt Suzuki twin camp?
Even some of our well know V competitors are closet SV men! (Kesler comes to mind)
I know there are others; fess up!
In the new/old SV spirit, we will swear to ride these newish cheaters with a vintage style of grace and carefulness.

I guess they got tired of riding around by themselves too. It sux too cause I'd love to race a Hawk or my CB-1, but you got to have others to race against to make it worth all the money it costs to do this.

 

how much hp does a hawk sb make and how much hp does a hawk ss make?

 

With Sheik money you can get close to 100, maybe. Stock is 58HP.

 

Between 90-100Hp on Grenades and About 65-68SS Build.

I tried dammit. Wanted that project Hawk, but the boss said "no".

sv dark side

I too have felt the pull of the sv dark side . there is a hooligan version residing in the shop beckoning to me whenever I think of riding the SR's or sportster. it is a powerful force to reckon with and I am weak. bill and darethea

I would be lying if I said im not tempted to go the SV route for next year......

 

SV is becoming the class to race for sure! I can't believe that because I have one you all gotta have one too. Actually, I have grown to love a congested T1 at the start!

 

Im just thinking get one for a streetbike,and if i like it well enough or my FZR gives me crap, i will give racing it a try. Any performance differance between the naked version and the "S" model? I really know nothing about them,besides they have huge grids!!
