I have a 2004 KX65 that I spent a boatload of money on over a couple years, raced it, won on it..... won championships on it, and now it just sits. my boys are years from being able to ride it, so away it must go to fund more "big bike" racing! (IF a Ninja 250 is "big bike"?) it has Honda NSF 6 spoke wheels on it, which required tons of machining, and work extremely well. no hack-job, very nice. this allows tubeless, and therefore, no flat usage. I paid $1000 for these wheels from CHP, after looking, and looking, and looking for 6 spokes. -Zambrana Performance engine. the porting is jewel-like. ($1200) -custom cut head shapes. -Wolf ignition. 10 different curves. from mild for a kid, to wild for the big kids. ($600) -Barnett alum clutch plates -lightened flywheel. -VF3 reed -28mm D-slide carb, Uni air filter and jets -pro-circuit exhaust -Ohlins shock, for 170lbs rider -GVE and springs in the forks -billet alum top triple and bar clamp -moose SS footpegs -brembo master cylinder -braided line -Takegawa front rotor -custom brake bracket for larger brakes -footpeg, rear axle, and bar end sliders -sprocket specialist sprockets -EBC brake pads I'm likely forgetting something.... I also have spare parts like radiator, levers, gearing for it. Theres also a complete, fresh 2nd motor that is ported and set up by Eric Gorr, with VF3 reeds, and Barnett alum clutch parts, lightened flywheel.... ready to rock. 2nd set of brand new forks from Kawasaki, as well. this bike is well sorted, fast, reliable, and is easily a winner. i havent dyno'ed it, but I'd guess about 19hp, having dyno'ed and ridden other KX's. (It's been sitting awhile now, so for sure the carb needs a cleaning.... after that, it would be ready to race!) I want $2700 for all of it, which is a complete bargain for whats there.
