I got leveled one time because I tried not to run into a guy(no check league), but he lowered his shoulder as I tried to avoid him. needless to say, I got the worse end of the deal. Nothing humbles you like being a 35 year old guy trying no to fall on your ass while a kid that just graduated from a DivII college and played hockey for them, skates circles around you so fast you get dizzy trying to see which way he went.
