Got a 1974 DT125, pitted forks with a sprinkle of surface rust. Anybody has any ideas of places that can help me out as far as reconditioning these bad boys?

    Thx.

Don't waist your time trying to refinish you fork tubes. Go to "Forking by Frank". Check out his web site or call him. Very helpful and probably has the new forks you need. Good pricing as well.

Thanks, Frank doesn't have the stock right now. No ETA on the stuff at this time. Damn.

Save your money for starter/generator brushes and a regulator. :D

If the rust hasn't pitted them too bad, you can clean them up with an India stone and Scotchbrite. New set of seals and you should be ok for a couple years occasional use. Just stay away from the ocean.
