Which is better or easier way to mount a quarter fairing, bar mount or frame mount? Where can I get these mounts? Thanks.

Bar mount. For a 1/4 fairing much easier. Make the mounts yourself. Get some aluminum flat stock at the hardware store, cut it with a hacksaw, bend it using a bench vise, pliers, hammer, etc. and drill the holes with a hand drill. It's easy, it's fun, it's educational. I been doing stuff like this for years. You get the satisfaction of turning your everyday bike into a truly one - of - a - kind mutation.

Bar mount is easier, but making a frame mount is no big deal either. Personally, I don't like the idea of a fairing/shield affecting steering inputs, so I prefer to isolate the fairing from the steering with a frame mount.

Drop on down to Roanoke again Mark, and take another look at mine.

Mounted my 1/4 fairing at the frame due to non affecting steering input. I also wear 2 headlights in evening events.

That is a manly oil line.

I was just thinking that same thing. I have oil line envy.
