Kids - I think this guy's got it right

The article is about the London Riots, but it rings true here. It basically says that the root of societies problems are in a lack of discipline and an overall sense of entitlement brought on by the welfare state. Nobody wants to "earn their lumps" going to school, learning things, working shitty jobs, etc.

One section that is heavily populated with Turkish immigrants, stood up to them with broken pool cues and clubs. None of their houses and shops were looted or burnt. Imagine what a few well placed rounds could have done if just the police were allowed to be armed. Great Britain is a perfect example of what happens when you strip peoples ability to protect themselves. It is a statistical fact that violent crime rises where guns are banned. The protectors of these silly laws will tell you gun crime went down when guns were banned. What they wont tell you is more often than not, murder rates go up, and violent crime, such as rape, robbery, home invasion etc: skyrocket. Its not about crime, its about defanging the populace that might strike back at government. They are disarming you to protect themselves, not us . . I just read today where in Viginia i beleive it was, had a 5% reduction in gun related crime at bars in the first year of allowing carry/ conceal permit holders to carry weapons in establishments that serve alchohol. This has proven out time and again, with the numbers decreasing by larger statistical values the longer the law is in affect. Of course the lefty shrills that oppossed these laws predicted a bloodbath, and it has yet to happen. An armed society is a polite society and an armed public is the natural enemy of a socialist government

 

I had a guiding client from Jersey and we have opposing views on this. It was a good and interesting (and very civil) conversation that lasted for about twenty miles of single track.

 

I'm going to preface this by saying I'm a multiple gun owner, and will have my concealed carry when I get around to it.

Now - go compare murder rates of London with those of any large American city. How does that jive with your comment?

 

London has a high violent crime rate, in fact extremely high, but a low murder rate. Guess they just beat your ass within an inch of dead. That's quite civil.

 

and we have the worst criminal cops in the world. If people get shot for having a "flashy shiny" object which turns out to be a lighter imagine how many flashy shiny objects they would see if a riot happened. I think the cops dream of a riot happening in Jacksonville.

 

Cops don't want any part of a riot. There are not enough cops to control a determined mob unless they go full auto.. whuch they wont. LA had one of the largest police forces in the USA and the King verdict riots went from zero to FFC in a very sort time.

Ever notice that here in the USA the rioters burn down thier own neighborhoods (stupid f#cks..!) and stores. Keeping a bunch of stupid iditos from burning down thier own neighborhoods isn't worth getting killed for. Containment is the key word.. let the MFer burn as the song goes.

You can get a 30 round drum with them as well. It wouldnt take too many evenings with the cops armed with these to get people to quiet the fuck down. They have already tried being civil with those little assholes. Time for them to get serious and start cleaning out the gene pool. Once the word got out that there was a good chance of being ventilated during one of their flash mob crime sprees I am sure that attendance would drop drastically.

 

I have one...I call it the "Crowd Pleaser". No need for a drum, ten round mags work nicely.

 

A few of the guys at work here have them. Apparently if you polish the bolt and do some other tuning they become much better. They all got the 30 rd drums and say that the gun is just too heavy with it so they use the stick mags most times. In a riot situation the drum and a shoulder strap would be my choice.

 

My ex girlfriend was just robbed at knife point while sitting in her car. She was in such shock having a knife to her throat that she couldn't respond to a simple command to hand over her wallet sitting on the seat next to her.
